At just ten years old, Leo escapes from a foster home, determined to find her own path. On the road, she collides with Lou, a gruff loner with a knack for trouble. What begins as Lou’s reluctant attempt to “do the right thing” and take her home quickly turns into something else entirely—Leo has, unknowingly, recruited him as her unwitting partner on a runaway journey toward a fishing competition. What follows is an unlikely road trip between a girl who won't speak and a man who won't listen. Together, they embark on an unpredictable and heartwarming adventure that will change their lives forever.
